WOUL D YOU LIKE TO SPEAK WITH US?

the art of talent

The Artists

We will be exploring talent as an art form. The people in talent who create new and experimental ideas and methods - the avant-garde to the Modern - where the traditions of the past have been thrown aside in a spirit of experimentation. The new ways to approach how we recruit and work with our people.

We will look at the Romantics with their emphasis on emotion and individualism. Or maybe the Realists who sought to portray real people and situations with truth and accuracy, and not avoid the unpleasant side of life. The modern EVP.

And let's not forget those that blended the art with the science like da Vinci who was active as a painter, draftsman, engineer, scientist, theorist, sculptor, and architect. The rise of talent intelligence and people analytics.

In much of the world today, an artist is considered to be a person with the talent and the skills to conceptualise and make creative works. Their artworks can take many forms and fit into numerous categories, such as architecture, painting, ceramics, and digital art. We find many of us are combining many roles in a modern talent team - the sourcer, the employer brand manager, employee experience coordinator to name a few.

Of greater importance, artists are the individuals who have the desire and ability to envision, design, and fabricate the images, objects, and structures we all encounter, use, occupy and enjoy every day of our lives. G

Get your outfits ready! We are dressing up as artists and celebrating our ability to create, invent, and practice talent as an art form.

"A man who works with his hands is a labourer, a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman, But a man who works with his hands, his brain and his heart is an artist." - Louis Nizer

The Stages

Centre Stage

Our main stage for keynotes and the big ideas.  We will be showcasing our international speakers and invited speakers.

The Artists Stage:

This unique area will focus on stories, case studies from our community. Those that have had a vision, a creative flair who have been able to transfer their visions into great initiatives in talent, in whichever medium or form (talent, recruitment, internal mobility etc).

In the Round stage:

Set up in the courtyard, we will be inviting our audience to hold a #tru style discussion.  Choosing a topic, introducing for 5 minutes and then a free flowing conversation for the next 25 minutes.  It’s an opportunity for the audience to move in and out as it interests them and gives our community a chance to start their speaking/facilitation career whilst leading on a topic that is of interest to them.

Speak with us

We invite people from our community to join us to tell their stories.

Presentations should contribute to the theme - The Art of Talent.

Case studies, storytelling and real-life experiences, exploring a new idea. We are happy with pushing the boundaries and we encourage you to do so!

We want to showcase people in talent, talent acquisition and HR that have an idea to share, a story to tell about how they have created, changed and transformed what they do to deliver talent to their organisation.

You may be asked onto Centre Stage or the Artist Stage. If you are presenting 'In the Round', we have asked you to lead this, as you are a talent/TA expert who we have invited to start a conversation around a topic you feel passionately about with people who share that passion.

You can be as creative as you would like to be.
